Biography

Trisha Lurie took her first breath of fresh air on Saint Patrick’s day, under the Pisces moon. An artist to the core of her being, in fact, it just may be the only thing that makes sense to her. As a Musician (singer/songwriter/guitarist)of band Romancing Neptune, and solo projects, Actor, Professional Model, Painter and hobby Photographer, she spends a majority of her life deep in the creative zone dedicated to the craft. She was born and raised in southern California, where she was home schooled until high school. She grew up in a family of fine artists, poets, actors, and musicians, who encouraged her to be dedicated to a life in the arts. Here is a little run down of the Trisha Lurie Project.

A Musician… Singer, songwriter and guitarist of band Romancing Neptune and also working on solo projects and collaborations with fellow musicians. At the moment she is currently working full time with Romancing Neptune, recording, giging and in pre production of two Romancing Neptune music videos, she is also working with producers on developing music for tv and film. On a personal note, Trisha is determined to create meaningful, substantial music that will transcend her time on earth. Her music is the centering strength, from which her other art ventures find energy and momentum. You could call her style of music bluesy rock with a touch of grungy rawness. Her music is full of heart felt lyrics and soul focusing on the ups and downs of life and society. For Trisha, music is like oxygen, life does not work without it.

A Professional Model… Trisha specializes in art, fashion, sport, commercial, editorial and glamour. Trisha has been published with extensive editorial spreads in national and international magazines including Maxim, Esquire, BPM, Surfing, Surfer, Inked, Playboy, Tattoo, The List, etc. She has also done many print campaigns for specialized publications featuring surfing, high fashion, jewelry, rock and roll fashion, modern art and contemporary fashion. She has participated in numerous events, runway shows, calendars, catalogs, websites, etc.

An Actor…Trisha started dabbling in theater as a child and fell in love with acting and performing. Acting was a secret, back burner desire at that time. In high school she became immersed in surfing competitively and thus moved to Hawaii, only to be drawn back into the art, making her living as an artist. It was also the start of a successful modeling career. After a few years she moved back to LA and continued modeling and soon found herself back to her love for working in the Film and TV industry. Trisha has principled in quite a number of notable music videos and commercials and she has worked on pilots, developing and producing game shows and reality shows as well as playing leading rolls and supporting rolls in a growing number of feature films.

As an Artist,… Trisha works in many mediums as an artist. Anything from Modern Art to Graffiti Art, Oils to Spray Paint. Canvas to Wood. She has been an artist by trade since 1997 and continues to create and develop new methods and art projects/series. She has also done extensive Graphic and Fine Art for various companies Internationally. Earlier in her art career she worked extensively in the Surf/Skate industry, doing graphics on boards, fabric, murals and clothing lines. Speaking of clothing lines Trisha created her own American made, organic tee-shirt line under her company LURIE LURIE. And now in the development of new brand “ROMANCING NEPTUNE”. Taking the band merch idea to new levels, creating a multi facetted brand. Off camera and out of studio time is spent with her beautiful son. As a single mother, she is determined to give him a healthy and happy life, which is why she is involved in many environmental issues and causes as well as living as “green” as possible. Trisha is a devout surfer and dedicated to personal strength, health and well being. A life of adventure and learning new culture has formed who she is today. Being a good example and a positive, creative, loving, generous and strong woman are her life goals. Dedicated to preserving the nature of this planet and sharing love not hate.
