So, I have a new song that I have played a handful of times at at a few gigs. I had an unplanned opportunity to record it the other night as an idea for a film score and this is what we created. Me and Pete Thorn in the middle of the night played everything in about two hours. I was recovering from strep throat so probably not the best vocals, well definitely not but we did it anyways. Peter was able to make it sound good. So, here it is.. Eventually I want to re-record the song and include the middle verses that we left out because of time and whatnot.

“Freedom”

The greed that’s keeping you safe at night
is eating you inside out.
Singing praises to your holy god
with your dirty hands in your mouth.

Stepping over the mouths of the needy
’cause you got a child of your own.
You can’t hear the cry of the people when you’re
sitting so high on your throne.

~Chorus~
Tell us we’re not worthy of your heavy gold,
You’ll watch us fall.
Stack the cards against us, put our backs against the wall,
but we wont fall.

The masses are growing weary,
they’re tired of being torn.
You can’t hold back the force of the ocean
when a revolution is born.

You want freedom, We want freedom, I’m calling for freedom,
freedom for all.
But if there aint freedom for every single one,
then there aint any freedom at all.

~Chorus~

Tell us we’re not worthy of your heavy gold,
You’ll watch us fall.
Stack the cards against us, put our backs against the wall,
but we wont fall.

Tell us we’re not worthy of your heavy gold,
You’ll watch us fall.
Stack the cards against us, put our backs against the wall,
but we wont fall.

No we won’t fall.
